Doris Doheny, Doctor of Chiropractic, is proud and happy to announce that in 2017 she celebrates 24 years practicing in "The Valley". Dr. Doheny's office is a wellness-based practice. In her practice she offers individuals and families the opportunity to learn the many benefits of chiropractic spinal adjustments for health and well being. A 1987 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic, Dr. Doheny is a state licensed doctor of chiropractic in Pennsylvania. Dr. Doheny is a member of the Athens Business Association, the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association.
An internship with Dr. Vernon Pierce in 1988 allowed her to advance in learning Pierce Stillwagon Technique, and mentor with other skilled doctors in the profession. Over the past 30 years, in addition to serving patients in her private practice, Dr. Doheny has continued her education by attending lectures and classes in contemporary chiropractic methods, neonatal and prenatal chiropractic care, pediatric chiropractic, nutrition, rehabilitative exercise and x-ray imaging advancements. While learning, Dr. Doheny found that gentle methods of chiropractic adjusting are not only effective, but safe and easily accepted by the patient. Many patients remark "I wish I hadn't waited so long."
